CY by Design, for the development of collective innovation

To support the development of collective innovation, CY Initiative and CY Cergy Paris University are implementing the CY by Design approach. It supports innovative teaching and learning practices and facilities through research-based projects and service to teaching teams. 
This approach aspires to pedagogical transition, with a research dimension (design lab) and service and site engineering brought together under the term Design Hub. The Design Hub is a support service area of the university to support its transformation both in its academic dimension (participatory innovation and educational engineering) and in the opening of the university to society (entrepreneurship, applied research, Fablab, technological facilities, etc.). It will be a third location at the crossroads of design and engineering focused on the challenges of the 21st century. Several dynamics allow to strengthen the emergence of the Design Hub: the educational café, the installation of innovative rooms in Neuville and research skills in learning sciences (design lab).
