CY Initiative members

In February 2017, the University of Cergy-Pontoise (UCP), ESSEC and EISTI, within the ComUE Paris Seine, were awarded laureate of the “initiative of excellence” programme. Since January 1, 2020, UCP, EISTI and the ComUE Paris Seine have evolved into a new leading university for academic site policy: CY Cergy Paris University. ESSEC, for its part, is associated by decree with the university and integrates its governance. 
The initiative now has two driving members of the project:

CY Cergy Paris University is built around a vision: being a rich university in its diversity, oriented towards society, and of international ranking; a mission: through training and research, enable new generations to approach the complexity of the world from a sustainable perspective; and a slogan: "Design your life! ", to prepare the actors of tomorrow, through the triple promise of a campus life experience, active and involved pedagogy, and strong international openness.

ESSEC Business School, Enlighten, Lead, Change
