CY Initiative, responding to the complex challenges of the 21st century

CY Initiative is the name of the joint strategy led by CY Cergy Paris University and ESSEC Business School. The initiative, labeled I-SITE by the French government in February 2017, aims to encourage the emergence of a leading academic power in the form of a research-intensive international university by 2030. The creation of the experimental establishment was achieved in less than three years with a new form of public-private governance and academic ambitions developed around a clear identity.
