A strategy of attractiveness and international deployment on the Europe-Africa-Asia axis
CY Cergy Paris University's ambition for excellence is based on a strategy of attractiveness and international deployment on the Europe-Africa-Asia axis, which combines the development of research (with associated international laboratories) and training ( joint-degrees and campus). In particular, this will involve identifying around fifteen strategic partners.
In Europe, CY Cergy Paris University is fully invested in the EUTOPIA alliance, a network of European research universities (EUTOPIA 2050 project) alongside the University of Warwick (UK), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Brussels), the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Pompeu Fabra University (Spain).
With its partners, CY Cergy Paris University intends to invent a new model of a more inclusive European university, with increased mobility agreements. This alliance will increase the ability to respond to European calls for proposals and nurture projects on the international campus.
In Africa, CY Cergy Paris University aims for a balanced deployment between French-speaking and English-speaking Africa (Mauritius, Cameroon, Senegal, South Africa). The university is particularly committed alongside the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie to deepen existing cooperation in education and digital technology.
In Asia, CY Cergy Paris University is deploying its strategy mainly in China (Hangzhou and X’ian) and Singapore, but also in Vietnam, possibly in India.
